From the very beginning, Fisher-Price made educational toys. The firm was founded by Herman Fisher, Irving Price, and Price's wife, illustrator and artist Margaret Price. The company's name is simply a combination of its founders' surnames. The toys were made based on Margaret's sketches, and she drew inspiration from her children's books. One of Fisher-Price's first toys was "Doctor Doodle," a funny little duck you could pull along on a leash. Today collectors pay several hundred thousand dollars for such a toy.

Helps the baby develop all sensory organs: vision, hearing, touch. The otter can even breathe to naturally calm the child with its presence.
